Recipe Introduction

This is my favorite dessert...Every Christmas, my niece asks me to make it for our family get together... Before serving, I microwave a slice of pie for 1-2 mins., and then put a huge scoop of French Vanilla ice cream on top. It doesn't get any better than this :)

List of Ingredients

3 eggs
3/4 c. flour
3/4 c. white sugar
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1 c. butter, melted
1 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 9" unbaked pie shell
french vanilla ice cream, optional




Recipe

Preheat oven to 325.

In a lg. bowl, beat the eggs until foamy.

Mix in flour, sugar, and brown sugar until well blended.

Blend in melted butter or margarine.

Stir in chocolate chips, and nuts. Pour filling into pie shell.

Bake for 1 hr. Remove from oven, and cool for 30 mins. before cutting.
