    You can color with little green food coloring, if you like. I don't. I don't find it attractive at all. I love the beautiful amber color of the jelly as is.

    List of Ingredients




    Sue's Hot Pepper Jelly

    10-12 hot, seeded peppers, jalapeno, or equivalent
    10 lg. bell peppers, combo or yellow, red, green, orange
    1/2 c. water
    3 c. white vinegar
    5 lbs. sugar
    2 med. bottles Certo


    Recipe



    Put peppers and water in food processor, and very coarsely chop.

    Put all ingredients in lg. pot except Certo, and food coloring. Soft boil for 5 mins. Skim top.

    Add Certo and green food coloring, and boil for 1 min.

    Pour into sterile jars, and seal.

    Process in boiling water bath for 15 mins., then cool on a towel for at least 12 hrs.
