Linda's Fudge-Nut Topped Brownies
1 c. margarine, melted
2 c. sugar
1 c. flour
2/3 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
1/2 c. milk
3 tsp. vanilla
12 oz. chocolate chips
1 can Eagle brand sweetened condensed milk
1 c. walnuts, chopped
Recipe
Preheat oven to 350.
In a lg. bowl, combine margarine, sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, eggs, milk, and 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla. Mix well.
Spread in greased 9x13" pan.
Bake for 40 mins.
Just before brownies are done, in heavy saucepan, over low heat, melt chips with sweetened condensed milk, nuts, and remaining vanilla.
Remove from heat.
Immediately spread over hot brownies.
When cool, chill, and cut into bars.
Store covered, at room temperature.
Makes 36-40 brownies
