Linda's Meaty Spaghetti Sauce

1 restaurant size can of tomato puree
2 lbs. hamburg or 1 lb hamburg and 1 lb. Jimmy Dean Sausage
1 lb. Italian Sweet or hot sausage
4 lg. onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic
2 bay leaves
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. oregano or 1/2 tsp. italian seasoning & 1/2 tsp. oregano
7 shakes tabasco sauce
1/2 tsp. red hot peppers
Recipe
Cook onions with basil and oregano, and then add hamburg and Jimmy Dean sausage. Cook until no longer pink in the middle and drain all the grease.
Cook sausage links separately, and after cooked cut up into bite size pieces and add to other mixture of meat. Add tomato puree and hot sauce and peppers to meat mixture. Mix well. Cook on med. heat until it comes to a boil and then cook 4-7 hrs. on low heat, or until desired thickness.
This makes a large batch of sauce.
