EASY SPINACH LASAGNA

- 13 x 9 pan
- 1 container of ricotta cheese (15 oz)
- 2 packages frozen chopped spinach (10 oz) thawed and squeezed dry
- 1 1/2 cups Parmesan cheese, divided
- 1 egg
- 2 jars (28 oz) pasta sauce
- 3/4 pound lean ground beef, cooked and drained
- 1/2 pound sausage, cooked and drained
- 12 lasagna noodles cooked and drained
- 1 package of shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375
- Combine ricotta cheese, spinach, 1 cup parmesan cheese and egg in a large bowl. Set aside.
- Comine pasta sauce, ground beef and sausage in another bowl. Spread 2 cups of meat sauce in a pan.
- Arrange 3 noodles over sauce in a single layer.
- Spoon 1 1/2 cups of ricotta mixture over noodles. Sprinkle with 1 cup mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat layering process two times.
- Arrange last 3 noodles and parmesan cheese on top.
- Place on cookie sheet.
- Bake 55 to 65 minutes until sauce is hot and bubbly.
- Use supporting cookie sheet to remve pan from oven all pan to cool several minutes on cookie sheets before lifting pan by handles.
- Makes 8 to 10 servings.
