I have given this recipe to everyone that has tried it at my home!!
List of Ingredients
- 1lb ground meat
- jalapeno peppers (optional)
- 1 lb bag of shredded cheese (Mexican blend)
- sour cream (optional)
- 1- 10oz can of Hormel chili-no beans
- 1 small can of enchilada sauce
- 12 Tostado Shells
- 1 Package of Taco Seasoning
Instructions
- Brown ground meat in skillet, drain.
- Add taco seasoning (follow directions on bag).
- On medium heat, mix enchilada sauce and chili in medium saucepan
- Cover taco shells one at a time with sauce, shaking off excess.
- Layer 6 sauce covered shells on bottom of 9-inch pan or casserole dish.
- Place ground meat on top and then about half the bag of cheese.
- Put 6 more sauce covered shells on top of cheese.
- Put the rest of the cheese on top.
- Pour remainder of sauce, which won’t be much, on top
- If desired add peppers.
- Bake on 350 degrees for about 35 minutes
- Add sour cream or more jalepenos if desired!
