Recipe Introduction

This is a recipe that I use quite a bit. I make 2 and freeze one ball for another time. Freezes very well.

List of Ingredients

4 c. shredded cheddar cheese
2 pkgs. (3 oz. each) cream cheese
1/3 c. mayonnaise
2 tsp. sherry flavoring
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/8 tsp. onion salt
1/8 tsp. garlic salt
1/8 tsp. celery salt
1/2 c. chopped walnuts


Recipe


Combine cheese, mayonnaise, sherry flavoring, Worcestershire sauce, and spices. Blend until smooth.
Cover and chill until firm.
Shape cheese mixture in a ball. Roll ball in chopped nuts. Cover and chill. Makes a 5 inch ball.
For holidays, I add a few green olives with pimentos for color.
