    List of Ingredients




    1/2 cup butter or margarine
    2/3 cup brown sugar
    1 egg
    1-1/3 cup flour
    3/4 tsp soda
    3/4 tsp vanilla
    melt butter in 2quart pan, add sugar mix well. add egg

    beat till light colored. sift flour with soda, stir
    into egg mixture. add vanilla chill.roll in small
    balls flatten. bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375
    degrees for 7-10 minutes remove at once. makes 3 dozen
