List of Ingredients
Mix thouroughly:
1 cup shortening
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
Add:
2 3/4 cups flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
Chill dough and hour or two. Roll into balls-walnut size. Roll into mixture of:
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. cinnamon
Recipe
Place 2 inchs apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes until light rown, but still soft. They puff up first, and then flatten out, with crinkled tops. Makes 5 dozen 2 inch coolies.
