I am from Canada, so our Thanksgiving is in October.  When I think of Thanksgiving I think of bringing in the gardens and crops and feasting off the land and giving thanks for it.  I think of yams, pumpkins, corn.  I think of falling leaves and the beauty of another season changing.  Next to Christmas, Thanksgiving is my favorite.
