Slow Cooked Spaghetti Sauce
List of Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef or italian sausage
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 2 cans (14.5oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 can (8oz) tomatoe sauce
- 1 can (6oz) tomatoe paste
- 1 bay leaf
- 1T brown sugar
- 4 cloves garlic , minced
- 1-2t dried basil
- 1-2t dried oregano
- 1t salt
- 1t dried thyme
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook beef and onion together, until meat is no longer pink, drain. Transfer to slow cooker and add next 10 ingredients. Cover and cook on low 7-8 hours. Discard bay leaf. Serve over spaghetti. Yield 6-8 servings
