    2 C sugar
    2/3 C dark corn syrup
    1/4 C light cream
    1/4 C water
    1/4 C butter

    Recipe



    Combine sugar, corn syrup, cream and water in saucepan.
    Cook over low heat until sugar is dissolved, stirring constantly.
    Cook, covered, over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes or until
    steam washes sugar crystals from side of pan. Cook over
    high heat to 250F to 268F degrees on candy thermometer,
    hard-ball stage.Stir in butter. Cook over high heat to 270F
    to 290F degrees on candy thermometer,soft-crack stage.
    Pour into buttered 8x8-inch dish. Let stand until almost set.
    Cut into squares.
