Dreamsicle Cookie Mix in a Jar

1/2 c Tang
3/4 c sugar
1 1/2 c vanilla chips
1 3/4 c flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder

Mix flour, baking soda and baking powder.
Layer ingredients in order given in a 1-quart wide-mouth canning jar. Press each layer firmly in place before adding next ingredient.

Makes 2 1/2 dozen cookies

1. Mix cookie mix thoroughly.
2. Add 1/2 cup softened butter or margarine,1 egg,slightly beaten and 1 tsp. vanilla.
3. Mix well; you may need to finish mixing with your hands.
4. Shape into balls the size of walnuts. Place 2" apart on oiled baking sheets.
5. Bake at 375F for 12 to 14 minutes, until tops are very lightly browned. Be careful not to overbake - they should seem underdone. Cool 5 minutes on baking sheet.
