Broiled Pesto Tomatoes

plum tomatoes or cherry tomatoes -- halved lenghtwise
pesto sauce
parmesan cheese -- freshly grated

Spread each tomato half with pesto. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and broil until cheese is browned.
