    Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookies

    3/4 c. butter flavored shortening
    1 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
    2 tbsp. milk
    1 tbsp. vanilla
    1 egg
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped nuts, optional

    Recipe



    Combine shortening, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl. Beat with blender til well blended. Beat egg into mixture. Combine flour, soda, and salt. Mix into creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by tbsp. onto ungreased cookie sheet about 3" apart. Bake at 365* for 8-10 minutes for chewy cookies. 11-13 minutes for crisp cookies.
