1 (12 oz.) can roast beef, shredded, or 2 c. finely chopped cooked chicken
Picante sauce
Grated cheese
Spices to taste
15 to 16 corn tortillas
Recipe
Mix meat with picante sauce, grated cheese, and spices to taste. Heat 3 or 4 tortillas at a time in microwave. Spoon about 1 tablespoon meat on tortilla and roll. Fasten with toothpick. Fry in hot oil, turning once, until brown and crisp. Work with a few tortillas at a time to keep them soft. Serve with favorite salsa, refried beans or guacomole.
