    SLUSHY PUNCH

    List of Ingredients

    1 c. sugar
    2 ripe medium bananas, cut up
    3 c. unsweetened pineapple juice
    1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice concentrate
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 (1 liter) bottle carbonated water or lemon-lime beverage, chilled.

    Recipe

    Stir together sugar and 2 1/2 cups water till sugar dissolves. In a blender container, combine bananas, half of the pineapple juice, and the orange juice concertrate. Cover; blend till smooth. Add sugar mixture. Stirl in remaing pineapple juice and lemon juice. Transfer to a 13x1x2 inch baking pan. Freeze for several hours or till firm.

    To serve, let mixture stand at room temperature for 20 to 30 minutes. To form a slush, scrape large spoon across the frozen mixture. Spoon gently into a punch bowl. Slowly pour carbonated drink down the side of bowl. Stir gently to mix. May keep in freezer. Just remember wqual parts slush and carbonated beverage.
