Oriental Chicken Casserole

List of Ingredients
2 c. cooked chicken, cubed
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 can (14oz) Chinese vegetables
1 1/4 c liquid (water or consomme)
1 1/2 c instant rice
1 can (8oz) water chestnuts, drained and chopped
1/4 c green onion, finely chopped
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 c mayonnaise
1/4 c Chinese brown gravy sauce
1 can (3oz) chow mein noodlesRecipe
Sprinkle chicken with lemon juice and soy sauce. Marinate and chill for 30 minutes. Drain liquid from Chinese vegetables and add water or consomme to make 1 1/4 cups liquid. Combine all ingredients except chow mein noodles. Mix well. Turn into a greased 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle noodles on top and bake 350 degrees oven for 40 minutes. Makes 6 servings. Refrigerate any leftovers.
