SOUTHWESTERN CORN CHOWDER

List of Ingredients
6 slices bacon
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 large potato, diced
1/2 c. water
1 (17oz.)can cream style corn
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 (20z.) can sliced mushrooms
2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1 can green chili
Recipe
Cook bacon until crisp. Drain. Pour off all but 3 tablespoons of dacon drippings. Add onion and potato and cook over medium heat, stirring until onion is lightly browned. Add water; cover and simmer until potatoes are just tender. Stir in corn, soup, mushrooms, milk and salt. Heat to boil;lower heat. Add chili and simmer a few minutes. Crumble bacon over top.
