One of the old members of the Lodge just can't get enough of this Biscuits and Gravy recipe; he says it is as good as the Biscuits and Gravy his Mom used to make.


List of Ingredients




ingredients for the white gravy

3 cups Milk
6 Tablespoons Flour
salt to taste
Pepper to taste
8 ounces Ground Sausage

ingredients for buscuits
2 3/4 Cups Bisquick® baking mix
3/4 Cup Milk


Recipe





For the Gravy

Combine the 3 cups of milk, flour, salt, and pepper in a jar and shake til dissolved.

Pour into skillet and simmer 15 minutes.

In another frying pan brown the sausage and drain off the grease.

Combine the sausage and the gravy, - Heat through.

For the Biscuits

Mix the Bisquick and the milk.

Drop by spoonsful onto baking sheet and bake at 450° for 10 minutes

Serve Gravy over biscuits.
