3/4 pound green beans -- trimmed
1 large red bell pepper -- cut into long thin strips
2 teaspoons olive oil
1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste
1/4 teaspoon pepper, or to taste

Preheat oven to 450°
Place green beans and peppers on a baking sheet with sides and toss with oil and salt and pepper.
spread the vegetables out in an even layer on the baking sheet.
Roast for about 12 minutes, stirring midway, or until the vegetables are wrinkled, brown, and tender.
