    Hot Spinach Cheese Dip


    1¼ cup milk
    2 tablespoons flour
    ½ cup chopped onion
    Dash of pepper
    5 ounces Monterey jack cheese with jalapenos, cubed
    8 ounces Velveeta cheese, cubed
    1 package chopped spinach, thawed, squeeze to drain
    1 tomato, seeds removed and diced

    Recipe




    Place 1 cup milk in a large, nonstick saucepan over medium-high heat.

    In a small bowl, blend remaining ¼ cup milk and flour until smooth.

    Add to milk in saucepan, cook, stirring constantly until thickened and bubbly.

    Stir onion, pepper and cheeses into mixture, and cook until cheese has melted and mixture is bubbly.

    Add spinach and tomato, and cook until thoroughly heated.

    Serve warm with tortilla chips, bread or vegetables.
