Marinated Cod
1/4 pound cod fillets
3 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
3 tablespoons water
3 tablespoons dry sherry
2 garlic cloves -- minced
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1 tablespoon basil – choppedRecipe
Place fish fillets in a microwave safe baking dish.
Combine the rest of the ingredients and pour over the fillets, turning the fillets to coat.
Cover dish and refrigerate for 1 hour, turning fish once after 30 minutes.
Microwave fish, uncovered, on high until fish flakes easily with a fork.
About 4 or 5 minutes. Do not overcook.
NOTES: You can substitute any white fish for the cod.
