    Make ahead meatloaf. Cheap, easy, and delicious.

    List of Ingredients




    Texas Meatloaf


    2 lbs. ground beef
    1 chopped bell pepper and one onion.
    2 tbs. minced garlic
    1 egg
    5 crushed saltine crackers
    salt, pepper, and worchestershire to taste
    1 sml. can tomato sauce
    5 slices soft cheese cut into small pieces (velveeta).
    Ketchup (to cover top of meatloaf)
    Garlic Powder (approx 1 tbsp to cover top of meatloaf)

    Recipe




    Mix all ingredients together put into a loaf pan.

    Cover in a layer of ketchup then cover the top with a layer of garlic powder.

    I put an olive or an Italian pepper on top to protect the top from sticking to the plastic wrap.

    Wrap in plastic than in foil and freeze.

    When you're ready for a great meal unwrap, put loaf pan on a cookie sheet and bake, frozen, for 1 hr. at 350 degrees.

    Great to have on hand and share with an elderly neighbors.
