Hearty Potato Chive Bread

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

3/4 cup lukewarm water
1/2 cup buttermilk
3 cups bread flour
1/2 cup instant potato flakes
2 1/2 tablespoons sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons chives -- chopped (I used 3 T. fresh)
3 tablespoons butter
2 1/2 teaspoons yeast -- (I used 1 3/4 SAF instant yeast)
Place all ingredients in your machine's fully assembled pan in the order
specified by your machine's manufacturer. Select the basic or white cycle
for 1 1/2 lb. and press start.
NOTES : I added a Tablespoon of vital wheat gluten. I used the dough cycle.
Shaped it and let it rise in a 9 inch bread pan for 45 minutes. Baked it at
375 for 35 minutes. Put a foil tent on it after about 25 minutes.
