List of Ingredients

1 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 stick butter (1/2 cup)
1 cup sugar
3 egg yolks
1 tsp vanilla

Glaze

Conefectioners sugar
Milk
Food coloring


Recipe

Beat butter, sugar, yolks and vanilla. Add sifted flour and baking powder. Chill for 2 hours.

Roll out to 1/4 inch on floured surface. Cut with cookie cutters. Decorate with colored sugar before baking or glaze after baking. Bake 8 minutes on ungreased sheet at 375 degrees. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan.

If cookies lose shape during baking re-cut them with cookie cutters on pan while still hot.

For glaze - combine confectioners sugar and milk (a little at a time until spreadable) and add food coloring if desired. Use a spoon or bakers brush to apply.
