    Very rich pie.

    List of Ingredients




    ½ cup margarine
    5 T. (heaping) cocoa
    ¾ cup hot water
    2 cups sugar
    ½ cup flour
    1/8 tsp salt
    1 tsp vanilla
    5.3 oz. evaporated milk
    1½ cups chopped pecans
    9" unbaked pie shell

    Recipe



    Preheat oven and cookie sheet to 350°. In a medium saucepan melt margarine, add cocoa and stir well. Add hot water and continue to stir. With wire whisk blend in sugar, flour, salt, vanilla and milk. Blend until smooth. Add pecans. Pour into pie shell. Bake for 1 hour until knife inserted into middle comes out clean. Test after 50 minutes.
