Dad's Chocolate Chip Cookies

List of Ingredients

2/3 cup shortening(crisco)..Not the butter kind
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 bag chocolate chips
nuts-optional


Recipe

Sift together; flour, soda and salt. In a separate bowl mix together first 5 ingredients. Add dry ingredients;mix well. Add chocolate chips and nuts.

Bake in a 375 degreee oven for 9-11 minutes.
