1/3 c. chopped green pepper
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 c. sliced mushrooms
1 lb ground beef...low fat
1 (14oz.) jar of spaghetti or pizza sauce
1 pressed garlic clove
3 (7.5oz) packages of buttermilk biscuits
2 c. 2% mozzarella cheese
Recipe
In a bowl, combine veggies, meat and sauce. Add garlic and mix well. Cut biscuits into quarters. Place half of the biscuits on the bottom of a 9x13 greased baking dish. Cover with half of the sauce and half of the cheese. Repeat the layers. Bake at 375 for 23-28 minutes
