2 c. flour
1/2 t. salt
4 t. baking soda
1/2 t. cream of tartar
2 t. sugar

Recipe




Mix together and cut in 1/2 c. shortning. When mixture looks like cornmeal. Make a well in the center of the mixture and pour in 1 c. milk. Using hands, gently mix dough together. Roll out on floured surface. Cut with biscuit cutter. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 to 12 min.
