    Cherry Bread

    3 cups plain flour
    2 cups sugar
    3 eggs
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    1 teaspoon soda
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 1/2 cups oil
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    Sift dry ingredients together. Beat oil and eggs together, add vanilla. Mix flour mixture with oil mixture.Beat just until all is moistened, add cherry pie filling and nuts and fold in.
    Pour into 2 greased & floured loaf pans.
    Bake 1 hour at 325º (depends on oven, I sometimes use 350 for about 30 minutes then turn to 325

    This is very good with any glaze.
