Johnsonville Italian Sausage and Pepper Hoagie
1 Johnsonville Heat and Serve Italian, warmed
3 Tbsp. Olive Oil
1 tsp. garlic, chopped
1 onion, sliced
1 green pepper, sliced
1 red pepper, sliced
1 yellow pepper, sliced
6 slices smoked Provolone cheese
11/2 cups marinara sauce, warmed
6 hoagie rolls
Salt and Pepper to taste
Sauté peppers, onions and garlic in olive oil and keep warm. Heat one Johnsonville Heat and Serve Italian Sausage in the microwave according to the directions. Place one slice Provolone cheese on bottom half of a hoagie roll and add 1 Italian sausage. Place a generous amount of pepper mixture on sausage and top with 1/4 cup marinara sauce.
Makes 6 delicious sandwiches
