    Willa's recipe from the 1970's

    List of Ingredients





    18-1/2 ounces Duncan Hines Lemon Supreme cake mix, (1 box)
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 cup apricot nectar
    2/3 cup oil
    4 large eggs, room temperature
    2 lemons, juice of
    1/2 pound confectioners' sugar

    Directions

    Combine first 5 ingredients in bowl and mix well. Bake in tube pan at
    350 degrees for 45 minutes, or until tested done. Allow to cool in
    pan for 10 minutes. While cake is hot - right from pan; mix lemon
    juice and confectioners' sugar. Glaze will be thin. Pour over cake
    immediately.
