    Beets In Orange Sauce

    1 pound cooked sliced beets
    1-1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    3 tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 cup orange juice
    1 tablespoon butter

    Thoroughly drain beets.

    In saucepan combine cornstarch, salt, and brown sugar. Gradually add orange juice. Add butter. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened and clear.

    Add beets. Heat thoroughly.
