    Bacon-Stuffed Tomatoes

    1 pound fresh cherry tomatoes
    10 slices precooked bacon, chopped
    2 green onions, finely chopped
    ¼cup mayonnaise



    Cut each tomato in half. Scoop out and discard seeds and pulp.

    In a small bowl, combine the bacon, onions and mayonnaise; stir until well mixed. Spoon the bacon mixture evenly into the tomato shells. (Can be made ahead, covered, and refrigerated up to 2 hours. Bring to room temperature before serving.) Makes 36 to 48.
