    2 cups flour
    1/4 cup raisins
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 cup nuts
    1 tsp baking powder
    2 tbsp. margarine
    1/4 tsp salt
    2 tsp vanilla
    1 cup sugar
    1 slightly beaten egg
    1/2 cup boiling water
    1/3 cup orange juice
    rind of 1 orange

    Sift all dry ingredients together, then add the rest. Bake in oven at 205 degrees for 1 hour.
