    Sausage Balls

    List of Ingredients




    1 pound lean sausage, any style preferred
    2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
    3 cups biscuit mix

    Various sauces for dipping in once cooked

    Recipe



    1.Preheat oven to 375*F (190*C).
    2.Combine uncooked sausage and cheese; add biscuit mix and mix thoroughly.
    3.Shape into 1-inch balls and place about 1 1/2-inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
    4.Bake for 20 minutes or until browned. Drain on paper towels. Serve warm.

    Makes about 80 sausage balls.

    To freeze: Freeze unbaked sausage balls in single layer on baking sheets. When frozen remove
    from pans and store in plastic zip-lock style freezer bags. Thaw 15 to 20 minutes at room
    temperature, then bake as above.
