Honey Cakes

List of Ingredients
CREAM:
1-1/2 cups lard (shortning may be substituted)
2 cups sugar
ADD:
4 beaten eggs
BLEND IN:
1 cup molasses
1 cup honey
1 cup hot water
ADD:
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
2 tsp. soda
2 Tbsp. baking powder
Flour to stiffen (5 cups approx.)
Chill dough overnight. Roll or drop. Bake at 350 degrees until brown.
