Mexican Lasagna

List of Ingredients
1 to 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
24 oz. jar picante sauce
12 flour tortillas
1 lb. Monterrey Jack cheese, grated
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
1 cup water
1 1/2 cups sour cream
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a skillet, brown the beef and pour off the drippings. Add taco seasoning mix and water and simmer until most of the liquid has evaporated. Grease a 9"X13" baking pan; layer 1/2 cup picante sauce, 6 tortillas (torn into big-sized pieces), 1/2 cup picante sauce, all of the beef mixture, all the sour cream, half the cheese, 6 tortillas (torn into bite-size pieces), remaining picante sauce, and the remainder of the cheese. Cover with foil and bake 40 minutes. Remove foil and bake and additional 10 minutes.Recipe
