    List of Ingredients




    1/2 c.shortning.....I use butter
    1/2 c. brown sugar packed
    1/2 c. white sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 c. coconut
    1/2 c. orange slice cut
    1/2 t. vanilla
    3/4 c. flour
    1/2 t. baking powder
    1/4 t. baking soda
    1/4 t. salt
    3/4 c. quick oats

    Cream shortning and sugars add egg. Mix the dry ingredients together and gradually add them. Add vanilla, and stir in candy and coconut.
    Bake at 375 10 -12 min.

    I double the recipe as it does not make that many.
