    List of Ingredients




    1 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. packed brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 c. quick oatmeal
    1 c. raisins, steamed and drained

    Recipe



    Mix as usual, adding raisins last (stir in with a spoon). Drop by spoonsful onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes or till edges are golden
