3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. white raisins
1 c. Crisco
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. sugar
2 ½ cups all purpose flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 T. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
2 c. quick oatmeal
½ c. sunflower kernels


Recipe



Combine eggs, vanilla, and raisins; let stand for 1 hour. Cream shortening; add sugars and egg mixture. Add all-purpose flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt and oatmeal. Stir in kernels. Chill 1 hour. Roll in ball; place on cookie sheet. Bake in moderate oven 350 for 15 minutes. Makes 5 dozen cookies
