1 C. strawberries, fresh or canned

1/2 C. butter

3 C. confectioners' sugar

dash of orange or lemon juice (optional)


Recipe



Cream butter. Add part of the sifted sugar. Add strawberries which have been mashed. Add remainder of sugar. Stir until well-blended. Spread on cake. A little orange or lemon juice can be added to the frosting.
