MOM'S COFFEE CAKE
1 CUBE MARGARINE
2 ¼ CUP FLOUR
1 CUP SUGAR
3 TSP BAKING POWDER
1 EGG
1 TSP SALT
1 TSP VANILLA
¾ CUP MILK
TOPPING: MIX TOGETHER
1 CUP FLOUR
1 CUP SUGAR
½ TSP CINNAMON
1 STICK MARGARINE
CREAM BUTTER, SUGAR AND EGG. ADD EGG AND VANILLA. SIFT FLOUR, BAKING POWDER AND SALT TOGETHER. ADD TO CREAM MIXTURE ALTERNATELY WITH MILK.
BAKE AT 375 DEGREES FOR 15 MINUTES. REMOVE FROM OVEN.
SPRINKLE TOPPING OVER TOP OF HOT CAKE AND RETURN TO OVEN FOR 15 MINUTES.
SPRINKLE WITH POWDER SUGAR WHEN COOL.
