Spingis (pronounced Spengees)

1 egg
1 cup milk
1 1/2 cup flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/4 cup white sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
Recipe
In large mixing bowl, beat eggs.
Add milk, flour and baking powder - mix well into beaten eggs.
Add water or flour to obtain the consistency of pancake batter (semi-thick).
Drop spoonfuls of batter into hot oil, cooking until lightly browned on all sides.
Allow spingis to cool, then roll or shake in bag of combined sugars, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Do not store in tight container or the spingis will become sticky
