    Mom's Chili

    This is a nice meal for a cold winter day!


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb ground beef
    • 1/2 medium onion - chopped
    • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    • salt and pepper
    • 1 can hot and spicy chili beans
    • 1 bottle Vegetable Juice
    • Chili powder to taste


    Instructions


    1. Brown ground beef with onions, garlic powder and salt and pepper. Drain.
    2. Add beans, vegetable juice, and chili powder.
    3. Simmer for 45 minutes and serve.


    Final Comments


    I love to serve this with corn bread, but saltines work as well. It is very good with a little honey added to it after cooking.
