    1 cup butter
    2 cups sugar
    4 eggs
    3 cups flour
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1 cup sour milk
    juice of three lemons
    1 cup icing sugar

    Recipe



    Cream together butter and sugar.Add eggs one at a time mixing well.Add sifted dry ingredients with milk.Put into two 8x4 loaf pans.Bake 350 for about 50-60 minutes.
    Make galze with lemon juice and icing sugar and pour over loaves that have been poked with a large fork to make holes.
