An easy, tasty treat for your favorite canine.

List of Ingredients

2 c whole wheat flour
1/4 c corn meal
1/2 c Parmesan cheese
1 medium egg
1 c water


Recipe

Mix all ingredients together, except for 1/4 cup of the Parmesan cheese. Knead until thoroughly mixed. Roll the dough mixture in 3-inch, pencil-sized sticks. Roll the dog treats in the remaining Parmesan cheese. If you are making stick-shaped treats, twist the sticks 3-4 times. Then place the treats on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Store dog treats in an airtight container. You can also use cookie cutters to create Doggy Treats in the shape of animals or dog bones. Knead in 8-10 drops of food coloring to add variety to your treats.
