    • 1 lb. ground beef
    • 1/2 c, chopped onion
    • 1 can (14.5 oz.) stewed tomatoes, cut up
    • 1 large green pepper, chopped
    • 1/2 c, uncooked long grain rice
    • 1/2 c, water
    • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    • 1/2 tsp. salt
    • 1/4 tsp. pepper
    • 1 c, (4 oz) shredded cheddar cheese


    Instructions


    1. In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pinnk; drain. Transfer to a greased 2-qt. casserole.
    2. Add the next 8 ingredients.
    3. Cover and bake at 350 deg. for 1 hr. or until the rice is tender.
    4. Uncover and sprinkle with cheese; cook 5 min. longer or until cheese is melted. 4-6 servings.
