    CUCUMBER SALAD (GURKENSALAT)

    List of Ingredients


    • 3 large cucumbers, peeled & sliced very thin
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1 c. sour cream (1/2 pint)
    • 2 Tbsp wine vinegar
    • 1 small onion, chopped fine
    • 1 Tbsp minced fresh parsley (or 1 tsp of dried)
    • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce


    Instructions


    1. Place sliced cucumbers in a bowl and sprinkle with salt. Let sit while making sauce.
    2. Combine sour cream and vinegar. Add onions, parsley and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well.
    3. Drain accumulated liquid from the cucumber slices. Pour sour cream mixture over them and stir. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hrs.
